- Legal People has a wide ranging client base consisting of Melbourne's largest international to sole practitioner law firms and corporations within the CBD, suburbs, country and interstate.
What positions do we typically recruit for?
- Permanent/Temporary/Part-time/Locum Lawyers, Legal Secretaries, Law
Clerks (Conveyancing, Mortgage, Litigation, Probate), Accounts Clerks,
Titles Office/Searching Clerks, in Senior, Intermediate and Junior capacities.
What do we look for in applicants?
- We look for people with relevant experience, and/or, qualifications and professional presentation. (Junior level opportunities are enhanced by having a demonstrated interest in a legal career, such as having undertaken some secondary &/or tertiary level Legal Studies).
What is the procedure for registration?
- Initially, ALL APPLICANTS
We require a current copy of your curriculum vitae with a cover letter stating what it is that you wish to achieve and one of our friendly staff will contact you.
- At an interview with one of our Consultants:
- Support staff applicants will have registration forms and usually skills tests to complete, which will be followed by a confidential discussion regarding your next career move!! (Usually around 45 minutes total).
- Professional applicants, a discussion time of approx. 45 mins. to 1 hr, is all that is required.
