Laine is widely recognised as one of the leading legal support recruitment consultants in Melbourne. Laine joined Legal People in May 2010 to add further depth and expertise to our legal support division.
Laine has specialised in both legal and generalist recruitment on a local and national basis, for over 18 years, which she has gained within a large national recruitment company as well as specialist boutique agencies. Based on mutual trust & respect Laine has forged some very long-standing relationships with her clients.
Likewise, she has provided career advice and guidance for many candidates throughout their career development and accordingly Laine enjoys an excellent reputation in the Melbourne legal market for her commitment to client service and accurately matching her candidates to her clients.
As a generalist recruiter, Laine has gained extensive experience in recruitment for non-legal roles such as business development; marketing and human resources; accounting, I.T. and Executive Assistants for leading corporations as well as law firms.
Throughout her career Laine has continued her professional development, undertaking various courses and attending seminars, to keep up with market trends!
Laine came to recruitment as her second career, having initially qualified (B.Edn.) and worked as a primary school teacher for 11 years.
Raising her daughter is one of Laine’s proudest achievements to date and when time permits she enjoys reading a good novel, sharing a glass of champagne with friends and spending time with her family. Her favourite holiday destination is Hawaii!
