Sharon is one of the leading, most respected specialist legal recruiters in Melbourne having successfully recruited professional staff to the legal industry for nearly 10 years.

Sharon heads our professional division, including lawyers and corporate staff. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Accounting and Management (HR), from the University of Melbourne and she has also qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Prior to her appointment with Legal People, Sharon worked with a leading international chartered accounting firm for a number of years where she gained significant experience in advising clients on broad ranging accounting, legal and management issues. During this time she managed multi-million dollar due diligence and assurance clients on behalf of the firm, across a range of industries including IT, manufacturing, winery and retailing sectors. She also assisted the firm in their Human Resources area, particularly with the graduate and vacation recruitment programs.

Sharon joined Legal People in April, 2001, her background has been integral in furthering our success in the placement of professional and support staff within both the legal and other professional sectors. She also assists firms in analysing the finer details in the merger and acquisition process. In recognition of her contribution and efforts to the firm, Sharon became a partner in January, 2003. Sharon has expertise in the following types of placements: lawyers (all levels and areas of law) and corporate staff (eg. accountants, finance managers, office/practice managers, business developers; HR; marketing; IT and knowledge management staff).

Outside of work, Sharon enjoys spending quality time with her two young children and the occasional glass of red wine!
