    Build your general insurance law career with a highly respected and progressive practice, working alongside a Principal and Senior Lawyers on a wide range of public and product liability matters, including personal injury and property damage claims. Your files will include complex and sometimes, high-profile, disputes for clients such as Australian insurers, institutions and government bodies.

    Duties
    In this role, you will:-
    • Work alongside and have the support and guidance of a Principal and Senior Lawyers 
    • Provide technically and strategically sound advice (written and verbal) that takes commercial considerations into account
    • Be heavily involved in all aspects of matters, ensuring your substantive contribution to matter outcomes
    • Prepare court and other legal documents with precision
    • Enjoy the support, guidance and mentoring from senior practitioners to further develop your advocacy skills, strategic-advice work and practice management skills 
    Skills & experience
    The ideal candidate will have:- 
    • 3-5 years' PAE in insurance litigation (ideally general liability)
    • Genuine interest in public liability litigation
    • Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively with others
    • Efficient, organised and diligent approach to your work
    • Strong drive and motivation to develop your career
    • Excellent legal drafting, research and analytical skills
    • Commercial acumen, problem-solving skills and initiative
