- Advise on M&A transactions for both not-for-profit and for-profit (typically private) clients across health, aged care, disability and community sectors
- Provide expert guidance on corporate governance matters, including directors’ duties, conflicts of interest, elections and appointments, and dispute resolution
- Draft, negotiate and review a wide range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, management arrangements, consultancy contracts, sponsorships, funding and grant agreements
- Advise on and implement business structures and restructures, including companies and trusts, ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Act for clients navigating regulatory approvals and engagements with FIRB, ACCC and ASIC
- Develop and refine governance frameworks, including constitutions, association rules, board charters and corporate policies
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and graduates, supporting capability development and team growth
- 3 + years PAE working in general corporate and commercial matters
- Experience in the health, aged care, disability or not-for-profit sectors is preferred, however, not essential
- Thorough understanding of corporate and commercial law, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, commercially-focused legal advice
