This is a role where no two days are the same, where you will be exposed to a diverse mix of commercial litigation matters, all while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
Duties
In this role you will:
- Advise on and manage a diverse range of matters including general commercial disputes (director/shareholder and contractual), insolvency and debt recovery, employment, property and estates disputes, professional and product liability, and building & construction disputes (highly regarded)
- Draft high-quality pleadings, affidavits, and legal correspondence
- Appear in court and liaise with counsel, clients, and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to practice development, networking, and mentoring junior lawyers
Ideally, you will have:
- 4–6 years’ PAE in commercial litigation/dispute resolution within a reputable firm
- Exposure to building & construction disputes (desirable)
- Strong technical ability with excellent drafting and analytical skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused and client-centric approach
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to contribute to team growth and share knowledge
