What you'll be doing
- Manage a portfolio of commercial litigation cases, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and representing clients in court
- Provide strategic advice to clients on all aspects of commercial disputes and litigation
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution outcomes on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with the broader Legal People team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal solutions
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and paralegals within the team
- Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, and proactively identify opportunities to add value for clients
- 4-6+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation , ideally gained in a reputable firm
- Strong technical legal skills, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex commercial disputes and litigation matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
- Thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory environment relevant to Litigation & Dispute Resolution matters
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
