Conveyancing Lawyer

About the role
In this role you will enjoy working autonomously, but also as a part of the broader Property team, on large and varied residential and commercial conveyancing and property files . You will be required to manage the conveyancing process and run your own files. Reporting to the head of the team you will work closely with a wider team of experienced and dedicated lawyers and conveyancers. There is also scope to take on broader commercial property matters, if desired.

Duties
Some of your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage residential sales and purchaser files from start to finish
- Prepare and manage subdivisions
- Arrange settlements via PEXA and complete Duties Online forms
- Draft correspondence, letters, contracts and statements
- Liaise with clients and other parties
- Complete contract reviews
- Associated administration tasks including opening and preparing new files, conducting searches and preparing bills
Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a conveyancing lawyer
- Sound knowledge of PEXA
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage high volumes of work
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient MS Office skills
- A positive and pro-active team attitude
