Duties
In this role you will:
- Advise on complex commercial transactions, including share and business sales and acquisitions
- Provide practical, risk-focused commercial advice
- Lead and support procurement processes and tenders
- Draft , review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
- Advise on Australian Consumer Law matters, including consumer complaints and unfair terms
- Manage modern slavery compliance, statements, and risk assessments
Ideally, you will have:
- 4+ PAE advising on complex commercial matters, with strong expertise in commercial contracting and Australian Consumer Law highly regarded
- Exceptional drafting and advisory skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A self-starter with a proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and support junior level staff
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels
- Strategic thinker with well-developed commercial and critical analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
