  • About the role
    Join a reputable boutique commercial law firm and work closely with a respected Executive Counsel on high-value, complex matters. This role suits a 4 year+ Commercial Lawyer who is   ready to take ownership of diverse commercial work, advising top-tier clients on transactions, procurement, risk, ACL mattes and modern slavery. You'll enjoy a collaborative team environment, meaningful client engagement, and clear opportunities for career progression.

    Duties
    In this role you will:
    • Advise on complex commercial transactions, including share and business sales and acquisitions
    • Provide practical, risk-focused commercial advice
    • Lead and support procurement processes and tenders
    • Draft , review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
    • Advise on Australian Consumer Law matters, including consumer complaints and unfair terms
    • Manage modern slavery compliance, statements, and risk assessments
    Skills & experience
    Ideally, you will have:
    • 4+ PAE advising on complex commercial matters, with strong expertise in commercial contracting and Australian Consumer Law highly regarded
    • Exceptional drafting and advisory skills, with a keen eye for detail
    • A self-starter with a proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and support junior level staff
    • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels
    • Strategic thinker with well-developed commercial and critical analysis skills
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
