About the role
This role is responsible for supporting the seamless credit operations of a long-standing and successful law firm. Assisting the Credit Manager in overseeing credit, you will work closely with the Finance Department and collaborate within and across the firm’s different Practice areas and administrative teams.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Prior experience within a legal environment will be highly regarded.

- assist in evaluating and managing client credit worthiness
- maintain Accounts Receivable records using Practice Management Software
- support regular communication with clients to maintain positive relationships and address billing enquiries
- manage routine credit-related processes
- assist the Finance team with Accounts Payable and Receivable
- prepare and handle correspondence, emails and memos
- contribute to finance projects and initiatives as required
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Prior experience within a legal environment will be highly regarded.
You will also be able to demonstrate:-
- a good understanding of credit management principles
- sound MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- experience with financial systems and billing software (iManage and/or 3E highly regarded)
- well-developed customer service skills
- ability to effectively prioritise tasks
- strong attention to detail
- supportive, friendly and pro-active team attitude
