Duties
You will work across a broad range of sectors and industries including but not limited to aged care, hospitality, retail, property, construction, local councils, government entities, education providers, finance advisors, healthcare/pharmaceutical and not for profit.
In this role you will:
- Draft employment and contractor agreements and interpret awards and enterprise agreements.
- Advise on compliance with workplace legislation, privacy obligations, and employee entitlements.
- Manage workplace disputes, including resolution strategies and commercial proceedings.
- Guide employers through discrimination, equal opportunity, performance management, and conduct issues.
- Oversee termination and redundancy processes to ensure lawful and effective outcomes.
Ideally you will have:
- Solid employment law experience at Associate/Senior Associate level .
- Strong service mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Exceptional communication and time-management skills.
- Sharp attention to detail and polished drafting capability.
- Confident multitasker with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing strongly to a collaborative team.
