  • About the role
    Elevate your career as an Associate or Senior Associate at a leading national commercial law firm, joining a newly appointed Partner (who is a LIV Accredited Specialist in Environment & Planning Law). You will actively advise a diverse portfolio of private and public sector clients, including some of Victoria’s leading developers and operators across residential, renewables, and earth resources.

    In this role, you will lead and shape projects, navigate complex planning approvals, and represent clients in high-stakes forums such as VCAT, Planning Panels, and the Supreme Court, working closely with the Partner and a collaborative team of lawyers to deliver practical, high-impact outcomes.

    Skills & experience
    Ideally, you will have:
    • 5+ years PAE and a demonstrated interest in environment and planning law.
    • Proven ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • A keen interest in the earth resources and renewables industries.
    • Experience or enthusiasm for working across all property development settings, including greenfield and built environments.
    • Passion for driving planning reform, broader regulatory change, and innovation initiatives.
