  • About the role
    Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this hands-on role is key to ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office and providing exceptional service for a reputable commercial law firm. You’ll be responsible for delivering prompt, efficient, and reliable facilities support while maintaining a high standard of workplace presentation and functionality. This position will suit a proactive, client-focused individual who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a well-organised and welcoming workplace.

    Duties
    In this role you will:
    • Set up rooms, desks, and IT/AV equipment (laptops, projectors, cabling) for meetings, events, and seminars.
    • Coordinate with the Events team to meet internal event requirements.
    • Maintain and track AV and WFH inventory (monitors, headsets, keyboards, meeting room PCs); arrange deliveries and returns.
    • Conduct daily floor walks to ensure the office is operational and presentable.
    • Manage and issue security access cards.
    • Provide office tours for new starters.
    • Maintain meeting rooms, ensuring AV functionality, stationery supply, and room presentation.
    • Monitor and action service requests via Jira.
    • Log building management jobs and coordinate secure bin collections.
      
    Skills & experience
    Ideally, you will have:
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a facilities or similar role, preferably in professional services.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong customer service focus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a positive “can-do” attitude.
    • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
    • Works well independently and within a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
