- Advising and representing clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, property settlements, and more
- Conducting client interviews, preparing legal documents, and negotiating settlements
- Appearing in court and representing clients in family law proceedings
- Staying up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law
- Providing exceptional client service and building strong client relationships
- Collaborating with other legal professionals and experts as needed
- Relevant tertiary qualification in law and admission to practise as a solicitor in Victoria
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in family law, with a strong understanding of the legal framework and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with clients and effectively negotiate on their behalf
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and solution-focused advice
- Proficient in legal research, drafting, and document preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
