This is an outstanding opportunity for a 3–6 PAE Family Lawyer seeking quality work with genuine flexibility. Working part-time (3–4 days per week) in a respected boutique CBD firm, you will manage a diverse mix of parenting and property matters from start to finish, with the autonomy to run files and the support of an experienced, collaborative team. Duties
In this role, you will provide advice on all facets of family law & related matters for example:
- Separation advice and processes
- Divorce applications and related filings
- Parenting disputes and arrangements
- Property settlement matters
- Spousal maintenance and child support issues
- Preparation and negotiation of financial agreements (including Binding Financial Agreements)
- Assisting with family law litigation strategy and court proceedings where required
Ideally, you will have:
- 3–6 years’ PAE practising predominantly in family law
- Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of family law matters
- Confidence in running files, including drafting court documents, affidavits, consent orders, and engaging in negotiations and mediations
- Strong knowledge of the relevant legislation and court processes
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
