Duties
In this role, you will provide advice on all facets of family law & related matters for example:
- Separation advice and processes
- Divorce applications and related filings
- Parenting disputes and arrangements
- Property settlement matters
- Spousal maintenance and child support issues
- Preparation and negotiation of financial agreements (including Binding Financial Agreements)
- Assisting with family law litigation strategy and court proceedings where required
Ideally, you will have:
- 3–6 years’ PAE practising predominantly in family law
- Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of family law matters
- Confidence in running files, including drafting court documents, affidavits, consent orders, and engaging in negotiations and mediations
- Strong knowledge of the relevant legislation and court processes
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
