- Drafting complex legal documents such as consent orders, financial agreements and parenting plans
- Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support the resolution of complex family law matters
- Mentoring and supervising more junior members of the legal team
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives
- Proven experience operating at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level in family law, with a proven track record of successfully representing clients
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring more junior lawyers
- Passion for the practice of family law and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
