Family Lawyers (Brisbane + Remote)

Your New Role If you are a lawyer currently practising in Melbourne (or elsewhere) and considering a move to Queensland, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your family law and legal centre experience to a progressive, values-driven organisation where your skills will have real impact.

There are four key positions available across multiple sites, offering the chance to combine a career move with lifestyle benefits while contributing meaningfully to the community:

• Casework Solicitor (Annerley)  - Provide advice, advocacy, and representation to clients in family law, domestic violence, and child protection, working directly on complex and meaningful matters.
• Supervising Solicitor (Annerley) - Lead and mentor a passionate team of lawyers and support staff, managing caseloads and providing guidance while also maintaining your own practice.
• Family Lawyer (Domestic Violence/Migration)   (Brisbane City) - Deliver vital legal services to clients experiencing family violence, with the opportunity to also advise and represent clients in migration-related matters.
• Family Lawyer - RRR Team (Remote, Regional, and Rural) - Be part of a team dedicated to increasing access to justice for clients in remote, regional, and rural communities, combining case work, outreach, and advocacy.

• Two weeks gifted annual leave at Christmas.

• 3-5+ Years PAE with a background in family law (experience in family law and domestic violence is a requirement);
• Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising a team of professional and administrative staff (for supervising position only);
• Experience in Community Legal Centres will be highly favoured;
• Ability to communicate effectively and work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds; and
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed relationship management skills.
