About the role
As an integral member of the Public Law and Regulatory Compliance team, you will take charge of workflows, templates, reports, internal and external relationships and the inbox to ensure the efficient and optimum running of the team. At the same time you will enjoy hands on involvement with files, such as attending to queries, preparing legal documents, briefs and correspondence and file notes and managing WIP.
This role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Law Clerk or Senior Litigation Legal Assistant ready to take the next step in their career.

Duties
Your duties will include (among other things):-
- Develop workflows to ensure templates remain up to date and enquiries are responded to appropriately
- Monitor and maintain central inbox for questions and documents, ensuring queries are promptly referred and an accurate record of conversations are kept
- Prepare and type board reports, court documents, reports, spreadsheets and correspondence
- Liaise extensively with legal and business services staff and suppliers as well as clients, courts, witnesses and barristers
- Assist with development of precedents
- Manage WIP and prepare bills and invoices
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in litigation law, along with:-
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word, word processing and typing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Initiative, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Well-developed time management, prioritisation and multi-tasking abilities to meet deadlines
- Flexible attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Collaborative and friendly team work approach
- Knowledge of Elite and/or FileSite is preferable, but not essential. Prior experience with Caseflow highly regarded
