  • About the role...
    As a part of the practice's busy and sought after Government, Environment & Planning Team, you will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of litigation, prosecution and advisory matters, largely across all Victorian Courts and Tribunals. . 

    This will include, but not be limited to:-
    • Prosecution case administration (e.g. preparing, filing and service of court documents) 
    • Case and file management (manage appointments, manage documents and correspondence in hard copy and digital files)
    • Document management
    • Prepare bills, prepare and lodge expense claims
    • Provide support with business development, tenders, presentations, conferences, court and advice work
    • Liaise with clients and stakeholders

    Skills and Experience 

    To secure this exciting opportunity you will have  at least 5 years' experience as a Legal Assistant  supporting senior practitioners , together with:-
    • Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures (experience with summary/criminal proceedings an advantage)
    • Client service focus
    • Fast/accurate typing skills and solid technical/software proficiencies
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in fast-paced environments
    • High attention to detail
    • Motivated and flexible approach to work
    • Ability to establish positive working relationships
