An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to make a positive career move.
In this interesting role, you will be an integral part of their professional and vibrant WorkCover team, primarily supporting a Partner & Lawyers handling a range of duties including:
- preparing and typing legal documents and associated correspondence;
- preparing subpoenas and arranging service;
- preparing briefs for hearings;
- liaising with clients, barristers, principals, interpreters and solicitors
- diary management, arranging appointments and coordinating meetings
- email and file management, including opening & closing files and archiving
- entering timesheets, billing and expenses
- other tasks as required
To be considered, you will have a minimum of 4 years WorkCover/Insurance Legal Secretarial experience.
- polished legal secretarial and administrative skills
- advanced word processing abilities
- strong attention to detail
- a flexible attitude and the ability to work in a collaborative team
- the ability to work under pressure
