  • About the role...
    As a Legal Assistant you will work in the Owners Corporation team supporting a Principal Lawyer and a Lawyer on both litigation and advice-related matters. You may also be required to assist the wider litigation team from time to time as the team is going through an exciting period of growth. Enjoying variety and never a dull moment, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:-
    • draft legal documents, briefs and general correspondence
    • prepare cost agreements
    • open and close files
    • billing
    • liaising with clients and external stakeholders
    • general secretarial and administrative tasks

    Skills and experience we'd love...
    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience   as a Legal Assistant working with a property law team. You will also be able to demonstrate:
    • positive and proactive approach to work 
    • excellent time management and organisational skills
    • well-developed communication (written and verbal) skills
    • eagerness and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
    • sound MS Office knowledge and technical skills
