Legal Counsel | Corporate & Commercial

About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel  to join our client’s Legal Services – Corporate team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (parental leave). Ideal for a 2-4 year PAE Commercial Lawyer , this role offers valuable hands-on experience across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with the support of a dedicated, collaborative and experienced legal team.

Duties
In this role you will:

• Draft legal documents and prepare correspondence on a range of commercial, compliance and regulatory matters
• Provide legal advice to school and office staff
• Conduct legal research and stay informed on relevant legislation
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients
• Support senior lawyers on legal matters and strategic projects

• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
• A high level of attention to detail and sound problem-solving ability
• Good time management and organisational skills
• A collaborative and professional approach, with the ability to work under supervision
