Duties
In this role, you will:
- Manage your own file load, liaising directly with clients on sensitive Abuse Claims and other personal injury matters.
- Assess claims, gather evidence, and instruct experts to build strong, client-focused claims.
- Prepare legal documents, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in mediations and court when required.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and leverage the support of a dedicated admin team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in personal injury law (minimum 2 years post-admission), ideally including Abuse Claims, or a strong interest in transitioning to this specialist and evolving area.
- Ambition for career growth and ongoing professional development.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Strong file and time management abilities to handle a demanding caseload efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client correspondence, settlement negotiations, and court preparation.
- Resilience under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury procedures, including Supreme Court claim preparation and litigation processes.
