  • About the role.....

    Our client is a highly regarded CBD law firm known for their friendly and inclusive work culture. They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Property Law Clerk to consolidate their career and become an integral member of their Property Team. 

    Working closely with a Property Lawyer and as an integral member of the property team you will enjoy being involved primarily in property development matters, as well as residential matters, when required. 

    As such, some of your duties will include, but not be limited to:- 
    • prepare and manage subdivisions and high volume developments (inc. vacant lots, townhouses, high-rise apartments)
    • draft correspondence, special conditions, contracts and s32's
    • prepare trust account requisitions
    • build and maintain strong client relationships and effectively liaise with other parties and stakeholders
    • prepare State Revenue Office documents
    • arrange settlements via PEXA and paper (when required) 
    • prepare bills
    • create, manage and maintain sales summary reports/spreadsheets for clients 
    Skills and experience we'd love....  
    Previous experience as a Property Law Clerk is essential, along with the ability to demonstrate:-
    • solid understanding of on-sales, nominations and off-the-plan transactions (commercial)
    • strong client service focus
    • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • well-established organisational and time management skills
    • up-to-date understanding of stamp duty exemptions and concessions
    • sound knowledge of PEXA and proficiency with MS Office
    • a positive and pro-active team attitude
