About the role...
This is an excellent role for a talented lawyer who enjoys
handling a variety of property law matters
and has 4-6 years’ experience
in general property law matters.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing high-quality legal advice on a wide range of commercial property matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and property-related agreements
- Advising on leasing, property acquisitions and disposals, property development, and owners corporations
- Assisting with commercial property litigation and disputes , including VCAT appearances (preferred)
- Ensuring compliance with property legislation and data privacy regulations
- Collaborating effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to deliver high quality legal services
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in commercial property matters including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and leases
- Strong ability to provide accurate and commercially sound advice
- Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in dispute resolution
