About the Role...
Reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager, who is also Melbourne based, in this role you will drive successful talent outcomes using advanced sourcing techniques
. This role will have a pro-active focus
, developing talent pipelines
for a variety of professional and support roles, as well as to promote a strong employer brand profile
.
You will be working very closely with internal key stakeholders such as P&C Business Partners, Partners and internal client groups nationally, as well as external stakeholders, including recruitment agencies and other service providers.
Your key duties and responsibilities include:-
- Manage end to end talent attraction and selection for both legal practice groups and business services groups;
- Undertake market research and talent mapping to develop talent pipelines;
- Provide talent market information and help conduct remuneration benchmarking ;
- Lead and contribute to talent projects ;
- Continuous improvement of the talent acquisition function;
- Provide coaching and advice on recruitment and selection techniques/methods;
- Ability to handle high volume recruitment in a timely fashion ; and
- Provide regular updates to both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Proven experience ( envisage 2+ years ) eg. in a Recruitment capacity, with a passion for Talent Acquisition ;
- A law firm background will be ideal, alternatively those with internal experience within a leading professional services firm (eg. accounting and/or engineering) or agency recruiters with experience recruiting high volume office support and professional services roles are encouraged to apply ;
- Solid experience across operational recruitment activities eg. screening candidates, shortlisting, briefing agencies, advertising, talent mapping, proficient in using Linkedin;
- Exceptional communication skills at any level and a genuine client service approach;
- Professional 'hands on' style with an engaging demeanour and the ability to build strong, enduring relationships with internal & external stakeholders and able to motivate and influence others;
- 'Team player' ethos and have a high levels of discretion, integrity and commitment to the company's standards.
