    Duties
    In this role you will:
    • Advise on a diverse portfolio of taxation matters, including income tax and capital gains tax.
    • Drive tax strategy across M&A and financing transactions.
    • Lead due diligence processes for high-value corporate deals.
    • Provide expert guidance on trust structures and related tax issues.
    • Manage ATO reviews and audits with confidence and precision.
    • Oversee ATO litigation matters, ensuring strong advocacy and effective resolution.
    Skills & experience
    Ideally, you will have:
    • 5+ years’ direct tax experience (Senior Associate and above) with exceptional analytical and communication skills to deliver fast, commercial advice.
    • Background in a law firm or leading chartered accounting firm (ideally in a consulting, as opposed to a tax compliance based role).
    • Strong drafting ability across opinions, advice letters, information memorandums, agreements, and related legal documents.
    • Client-centric mindset with proven relationship-building capability.
    • Collaborative team player who’s eager to mentor and support junior colleagues.
