About the role...
This is a newly created role where you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to a Principal Solicitor in Intellectual Property.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;
- manage and organise Trade Mark dockets and other IP files
- process legal documents for court filing and other legal proceedings
- monitor and prepare Trade Mark Office communications and outgoing actions
- maintain internal Trade Marks Database
- client billing and accounting
- conduct company searches
- assist in organising team seminars, events and travel arrangements
- general administrative support including managing correspondence, opening new files, diary management and file management
- well-developed organisational skills
- high attention to detail
- excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- proficient skills in Microsoft Office, document management systems and database records management
- a positive and pro-active team attitude
