Duties
In this role you will:
- Manage a diverse and complex WorkCover recovery practice
- Provide strategic, high-level legal advice on recovery and insurance matters
- Act for the Victorian WorkCover Authority in recovering costs from third parties
- Run matters autonomously from commencement to resolution
- Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the Insurance & Compensation practice
Ideally, you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in WorkCover (defendant or plaintiff) and/or insurance litigation
- Strong knowledge across WorkSafe practice areas, particularly recovery matters
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage your own files
- Excellent organisational, communication and client-service skills
- An interest in further developing your technical expertise and leadership capability
