You will advise and represent clients across a broad range of commercial disputes and contentious matters, including:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Misleading or deceptive conduct
- Regulatory matters
- Director and shareholder disputes
- Negligence claims
You will also contribute to litigation strategy, manage matters with appropriate autonomy, delegate work, and supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
Skills & experience
Ideally, you will have:
- 3–7 years’ PAE in commercial litigation gained in private practice
- Strong litigation and case management experience across varied disputes
- Excellent legal, forensic and evidentiary skills
- The ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Commercial acumen, business development capability and a client-focused approach
- Experience conducting litigation in the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria will be highly regarded
