Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and related documentation.
- Advising owners, contractors and government clients on major projects, infrastructure, procurement and construction matters.
- Advising on procurement models, including construction, relationship contracting, operation and maintenance agreements, and related project documentation.
- Drafting standard form tendering and contract documentation.
- Assisting clients with claims management.
- Contributing to business development, marketing initiatives and legal precedents.
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and graduates and contributing to learning and development programs.
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:
- 4+ years' PAE.
- Demonstrated experience advising on procurement projects, ideally across infrastructure, construction or property, although broader procurement and contracting experience will also be considered.
- Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- Experience contributing to business development, marketing initiatives and client engagement.
- The ability to work independently while building strong relationships within a collaborative team environment.
