    A significant career opportunity for an experienced  Family Lawyer (1-5 years PAE)  to join a highly respected and dynamic family law team in Melbourne's CBD.

    Duties
    In this role, you will become a valued member of a highly regarded Family Law team, working across a diverse range of matters. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
    • Manage a varied caseload across all aspects of family law, including parenting, property, financial and de facto relationship matters
    • Advise and represent clients in separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, property settlements, financial agreements and family violence matters
    • Draft high-quality correspondence, court documents, affidavits, consent orders and legal submissions
    • Appear in mediations, dispute resolution processes and court proceedings, with support from senior practitioners where required
    • Work collaboratively with senior lawyers on complex and high-profile matters, including cross-border and Hague Convention cases
    • Build trusted client relationships by providing practical, strategic and compassionate legal advice throughout the life of a matter
    • Liaise effectively with counsel, barristers, independent children's lawyers, experts and other external stakeholders to achieve positive client outcomes

    Skills & Experience
    The ideal candidate will have:
    • 1-5 years' PAE in family law
    • Experience handling a wide range of matters independently including, parenting, property, financial and de facto relationship matters
    • Strong technical, drafting, and client advisory skills
    • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational abilities
    • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team
    • A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
