About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a 3–5 PAE Lawyer seeking a genuine mix of family law and wills & estates work. Working part-time (3–4 days per week) in a respected boutique CBD firm, you will manage a diverse caseload across family law, estate planning and deceased estates, with the autonomy to run files and the support of an experienced, collaborative team. Duties
In this role, you will advise clients across family law and wills & estates matters, including:
- Separation, divorce and parenting matters
- Property settlements, spousal maintenance and child support
- Financial agreements and family law proceedings
- Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and related estate planning documents
- Probate, Letters of Administration and deceased estate administration
- Estate disputes, family provision claims and succession matters
Ideally, you will have:
- 3–5 years’ PAE in family law and/or wills & estates
- Confidence in running files, including drafting court documents, affidavits, consent orders, and engaging in negotiations and mediations
- Strong knowledge of the relevant legislation and court processes
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
