    Our client is seeking an experienced IT & Systems Coordinator to take ownership of the firm's day-to-day technology requirements, provide hands-on user support and work closely with their external Managed Service Provider.

    Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will support Partners, Lawyers and support staff across systems, security, projects and technology improvements, while also providing trusted advice to the Management Team.

    Some of your duties will include, but not limited to:
    IT Operations & Support
    • Providing day-to-day technical support across the firm
    • Supporting Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and core business applications
    • Troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity and user issues
    • Managing meeting room, audio-visual and other office technology
    • Logging, monitoring and escalating issues with the external IT provider
    Systems, Users & Training
    • Coordinating staff onboarding and offboarding, including devices, accounts and system access
    • Developing training and resources for new systems and technology
    • Supporting staff to maximise the effective use of technology
    • Managing devices, technology assets and user access
    Vendors & IT Governance
    • Working closely with the firm's Managed Service Provider and other technology vendors
    • Monitoring service delivery and escalating issues where required
    • Supporting cyber security, data protection and technology risk management
    • Reviewing recurring issues and recommending system and process improvements
    Projects & Technology Improvement
    • Coordinating technology projects from planning through to implementation
    • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, efficiency and user experience
    • Supporting the introduction and adoption of new technology, including AI
    • Providing technology recommendations to the Partners and Management
    Skills and experience we'd love:
    • Previous IT experience within a professional services environment – essential
    • Law firm experience will be highly regarded
    • Hands-on experience in IT support and systems administration
    • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Teams, Outlook and SharePoint
    • Experience working with external IT providers or MSPs
    • Sound understanding of cyber security, data protection and IT risk
    • Working knowledge of networks, Wi-Fi, printers and VPNs
    • Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply
    • Knowledge of Affinity and NetDocuments highly regarded
    You will be a proactive, approachable and service-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and working directly with people across all levels of a business.
