  • About the role
    An outstanding opportunity is available for a Leasing Lawyer with 2–4 years PAE to join a highly regarded and high-performing property team. This role will primarily focus on retail leasing , acting for a diverse client base on a broad range of leasing matters, while also providing exposure to other areas of property law.

    Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you'll be involved in high-quality matters and enjoy genuine opportunities to develop your technical expertise and progress your career.

    Duties
    Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
    • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating retail and commercial lease documentation
    • Managing lease renewals, assignments, variations and surrenders
    • Providing practical advice on leasing legislation, compliance and day-to-day property management issue
    • Building and maintaining strong client relationship
    • Assisting on broader property matters as required
    The ideal candidate
    To be successful in this role you will ideally have: 
    • 2–4 years PAE with demonstrated experience in leasing, particularly retail leasing
    • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Pragmatic, client-focused approach
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
    • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach
