Exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Legal Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded Family Law Firm based in Camberwell and become an integral member of a friendly, supportive and cohesive team.
About the role...
As the "right hand" to a Partner you'll pride yourself on your ability to ensure their busy practice runs smoothly whilst being actively involved in a wide range of family law matters. .
Some of your duties will include, but not limited to;
• diary management and arrange appointments/mediations
• draft general correspondence and prepare documents
• filing and indexing of original legal documents
• take telephone calls and assisting where appropriate
• draft, index and collate briefs to Counsel
• liaise with clients, Barristers and external parties
• undertake legal research
Skills and experience we'd love...
To secure this exceptional opportunity you will have at least 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, family law preferred but not essential, together with;
• advanced MS office skills
• strong attention to detail
• the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• excellent inter-personal skills
