  • Great  career opportunity  within this well-established CBD law firm for an  Senior Associate/Special Counsel level  Litigation Lawyer.

    About the role
    This is a great role for someone who is passionate about their work, building a strong rapport and providing quality outcomes for their clients.  In this role you will work autonomously and together with an approachable Partner, handling a  wide range of litigious matters, primarily significant civil litigation (often focussed on property/ land/ development & building disputes).

    You will enjoy having  direct client contact , undertaking  court appearances in all Courts & Tribunals  (incl. Supreme, County, Federal & VCAT) and will be a integral member of this team  offering  excellent support and mentoring .

    The successful candidate
    The ideal candidate will be diligent & pro-active, client focussed, have sound integrity and strong technical/drafting skills together with:-
    • Minimum 5 years experience  & broad exposure to a range of litigious/disputes matters including strong knowledge of the Bankruptcy Act, Corporations Act, Land Acquisition and Compensation Act, Domestic Building Contracts Act etc.
    • An engaging manner with excellent communication skills at all levels;
    • A team-oriented approach with a willingness to contribute to professional & business development activities.
    • Well developed negotiation skills and attention to detail.
