The Role
In this role you will advise and represent clients across a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including:
- Contractual and commercial disputes
- Building and construction disputes
- Property and leasing disputes
- Director, shareholder and partnership disputes
- Corporations law matters
- Estate and trust disputes
- Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Misleading and deceptive conduct claims
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and negotiations
- Matters before the Magistrates', County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, VCAT and the Federal Court of Australia
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- 2-3 years' PAE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Confidence managing files with appropriate supervision
- A genuine desire to learn from experienced practitioners and further develop your litigation career
