  • About the role
    This role is ideal for a Property Lawyer (2-4 years PAE) looking to build broad experience across commercial, retail and development property matters within a collaborative and high-performing team. Working closely with senior lawyers, you will gain hands-on exposure to a diverse range of transactions, including leasing, acquisitions and disposals, development projects and property due diligence. The role offers genuine responsibility, direct client interaction and strong mentoring, with a focus on commercial outcomes, efficiency and exceptional client service.

    What you'll be doing
    • Working on a broad mix of commercial, retail and development property matters
    • Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, disclosure statements and other key legal documents
    • Liaising directly with clients, agents and counterparties to keep transactions moving smoothly
    • Assisting with settlements, due diligence and transaction support work
    • Supporting senior lawyers on complex property and dispute matters while building your technical skills
    • Conducting legal research and providing practical, commercial advice
    What we're looking for
    • 2–4+ years’ PQE in property law, with solid experience across commercial property matters
    • A collaborative approach and strong leadership potential
    • Ability to work autonomously with partner mentoring and team support
    • Strong client service focus and commercial mindset
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Interest in networking, business development and profile building
    • Strong organisational and legal practice management skills
    • Experience using PEXA, with SPEAR experience advantageous but not essential
