About the role
As a Property Paralegal working at a well establised and highly regarded law firm, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal and administrative support to a busy team in the Property Department. You will manage your own portfolio of files under the supervision of a lawyer, driving matters a variety of matters from start to finish.

Duties
Some of your responsibilities will include:-
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Conveyancing Clerk, Legal Executive or Paralegal in a law firm setting.

Duties
Some of your responsibilities will include:-
- manage conveyancing files from start to finish (with supervision where required)
- prepare legal documents and correspondence, such as contracts of sale, vendor statements, transfer documents and letters to stakeholders
- liaise with clients, financial institutions, real estate agents, authorities and other law firms
- conduct property searches
- maintain files (physical and electronic)
- coordinate settlements
- assist with general property matters
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Conveyancing Clerk, Legal Executive or Paralegal in a law firm setting.
You will also be able to demonstrate:-
- Solid experience with electronic settlements (PEXA and Duties Online)
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
- Sound knowledge of residential and/or commercial conveyancing processes
- Good legal practice management system and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Dedication to meeting deadlines
- Friendly team attitude
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong client-focus and well-developed relationship management skills
