  • About the role
    In this role you will provide primary 'right-hand' support to a busy Managing Partner and be responsible for day-to-day support on high-level firm operations, as well as assisting on general commercial and property law matters. You'll enjoy variety, the advantages of working in a 'single focus' role for one fee earner, and the opportunity to take on some paralegal duties.

    Duties
    Some of your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:-
    • draft legal documents and correspondence across property and general commercial matters
    • prepare leases (including commercial, retail and industrial leases) and associated disclosure documentation
    • manage files
    • liaise with internal and external stakeholders (phone, email and face-to-face)
    • conduct legal research
    • prepare bills
    • organise department meetings, agendas & taking minutes
     
    Skills & experience 
    To be successful in this role you will have  solid experience as a Commercial and/or Property Legal Assistant , together with:-
    • strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
    • a proactive & hands-on approach
    • excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
    • high motivation with a positive attitude
    • fast and accurate typing skills
    • advanced MS Office skills
    • proficiency with PEXA, ASIC, InfoTrack and drafting lease agreements highly regarded (but not essential)
